Journal Overview
Health Nexus: Interdisciplinary Medical Research Journal is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access medical journal published by Panorama Scholarly Group (PSG). The journal advances scientific and scholarly research across conventional (Western) medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), biomedical sciences, clinical and translational medicine, interdisciplinary health research, and public health.
Published annually, Health Nexus provides an international platform for original research, evidence synthesis, theoretical inquiry, and critical scholarly dialogue. The journal welcomes contributions that advance medical knowledge, support evidence-informed healthcare, and address significant clinical and public health challenges.
Research conducted independently within conventional medicine or TCM is equally eligible for consideration, alongside comparative and interdisciplinary studies. Integration between different medical traditions is encouraged where scientifically appropriate but is not a requirement for publication. All submissions are evaluated according to their scholarly merit, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope.

Principal Research Sections
Health Nexus organizes its scholarly coverage through four principal research sections.
Western Medicine Frontiers
Clinical medicine, biomedical research, precision medicine, medical technologies, therapeutic innovation, and translational investigations within conventional medical science.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Insights
Classical TCM theories, traditional medical knowledge, herbal medicine, acupuncture, diagnostic practices, historical scholarship, and clinical research involving traditional interventions.
Interdisciplinary Research
Cross-disciplinary medical investigations, integrative clinical research, systems medicine, digital health, healthcare technologies, and research combining complementary scientific or methodological perspectives.
Public Health & SDGs
Population health, epidemiology, disease prevention, health systems, healthcare governance, health inequalities, and research addressing the health-related United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Each section welcomes submissions consistent with its scholarly scope. Research involving a single medical discipline is not required to demonstrate integration with another medical tradition. Authors may consult the journal's Aims & Scope for further information.

- Editorial Assessment of Selected Article Types: Editorials and Commentaries are generally subject to editorial assessment and may undergo additional expert review where appropriate.
- Scientific and Methodological Quality: Manuscripts are assessed according to the appropriateness of their research questions, study design, analytical methods, evidence, and interpretation. Statistical methods are evaluated where applicable to the study design.
- Reporting Standards: Authors must follow reporting guidelines appropriate to their research design, including CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE, and CARE where applicable.
- Research Ethics: Studies involving human participants, animals, clinical interventions, or identifiable health information must comply with applicable ethical approval, informed consent, confidentiality, and trial registration requirements.
