Call for Papers: JSCC Vol. 1 No. 2 October Issue — APC Waiver for Accepted Manuscripts

This issue welcomes original and interdisciplinary research on social cognition, communication, media, culture, technology, and public life. We invite submissions that examine how individuals, groups, institutions, media environments, and technological systems shape perception, judgment, emotion, trust, identity formation, meaning-making, and communicative practices in contemporary society.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
• Social cognition and communication psychology
• Digital media, platform communication, and audience cognition
• AI-mediated communication, algorithmic influence, and human–technology interaction
• Misinformation, media trust, and information credibility
• Public opinion, political communication, and collective cognition
• Cross-cultural communication, cultural cognition, and social meaning
• Communication ethics, technological society, and public life
• Theoretical, methodological, and conceptual innovation in social cognition and communication research
The journal welcomes original research articles, theoretical papers, review articles, methodological studies, short communications, and academic book reviews. Submissions from communication studies, social psychology, media studies, sociology, cultural studies, political communication, digital society studies, and related interdisciplinary fields are especially encouraged.
All submissions will undergo double-blind peer review and will be evaluated according to academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
Special Notice on APC Waiver
For Vol. 1 No. 2, the October Issue, all accepted manuscripts will be published without Article Processing Charges (APCs). This temporary APC waiver applies only to this issue and does not affect the journal’s editorial independence, peer-review standards, or academic quality requirements.
Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system.
