Three Teachings Studies (TTS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the study of Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism in East Asia. It publishes original research, comparative and interdisciplinary studies, and critical reflections on the philosophies, rituals, texts, and aesthetics of the Three Teachings, as well as their historical interactions and cultural influence. Accepting submissions in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese—with English titles and abstracts required—TTS welcomes diverse scholarly perspectives. Article types include research papers, comparative studies, textual notes, ritual and aesthetics analyses, book reviews, translations, and forums. By fostering dialogue across traditions and disciplines, TTS advances global understanding of East Asian thought and culture.

TTS Three Teachings Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal devoted to the study of Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism within the East Asian cultural sphere. Embracing both historical depth and contemporary relevance, TTS publishes original research articles, comparative and cross-cultural studies, philological analyses, and critical essays on philosophy, ritual, textual traditions, aesthetics, and cultural exchanges.
We welcome submissions in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese. All non-English articles must include an English title and abstract. TTS fosters dialogue across traditions and disciplines, promoting rigorous scholarship on both the interconnections and distinct developments of the Three Teachings.
