• Remove acknowledgments and funding information from the blinded manuscript and place them on the separate title page.
• Avoid self-identifying language such as “in our previous study.” Use neutral wording such as “previous research has shown.”
• Remove identifying information from file names, document properties, comments, and tracked changes.
• Ensure that figures, tables, appendices, ethics statements, and supplementary files do not reveal author identity unless disclosure is necessary for ethical or legal reasons.
• If ethics approval details may identify the authors or institution, use anonymized wording in the blinded manuscript and provide full details on the title page.

Provide a concise and informative title that clearly reflects the topic, approach, and contribution of the manuscript. The manuscript title should appear in both the blinded manuscript and the separate title page.

The separate title page should include the following information:

• Manuscript title
• Full name of each author
• Institutional affiliation of each author
• Email address of the corresponding author
• ORCID iD of each author, where available
• Author contribution statement, where applicable
• Acknowledgments
• Funding statement
• Conflict of interest statement
• Ethics approval information, where applicable
• AI tool usage disclosure, where applicable

The title page is used by the editorial office and should not be included in the blinded manuscript file.

The abstract should be between 150 and 250 words. It should summarize the research question, methods or approach, main findings or arguments, and the manuscript’s contribution to the study of AI and future society.

Please provide 5 to 7 keywords. Keywords should be specific, searchable, and relevant to the manuscript’s main themes.

The manuscript should be clearly structured with appropriate headings and subheadings. Depending on the article type, authors may use the following structure:

• Introduction
• Background or Literature Review
• Theoretical Framework or Conceptual Approach
• Methods, Materials, or Analytical Framework, where applicable
• Findings, Analysis, or Discussion
• Implications for AI, Ethics, Governance, and Society
• Conclusion

References should follow APA 7th edition style. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all citations are accurate, complete, and consistently formatted. All works cited in the text should appear in the reference list, and all works in the reference list should be cited in the text.

Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively and include clear captions. Authors must ensure that they have permission to reproduce any third-party materials. Figures and tables included in the blinded manuscript should not contain author-identifying information.

Where applicable, manuscripts should include the following statements:

• Ethics approval or IRB statement
• Informed consent statement
• Data availability statement
• Funding statement
• Conflict of interest statement
• Author contribution statement, where applicable
• AI tool usage disclosure, where AI tools were used in the research or writing process

Human-participant, sensitive-data, biomedical, or high-risk technology studies must provide appropriate ethics approval or equivalent information, informed consent safeguards, privacy protections, and relevant legal or professional compliance.

If AI tools were used in the research, analysis, writing, editing, translation, coding, image generation, or other parts of manuscript preparation, authors should disclose the tool name, purpose of use, and extent of use. AI tools may not be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, citations, and ethical compliance of their manuscripts.

Empirical studies should include a data availability statement. Authors should state whether the data are publicly available, available upon reasonable request, restricted for ethical or legal reasons, or not applicable. Any shared data should be anonymized where necessary and comply with relevant privacy and data protection requirements.

• Use clear, formal, and inclusive academic language.
• Use consistent headings and subheadings.
• Ensure that spelling, grammar, punctuation, and terminology are carefully checked before submission.
• Use APA 7th edition style for in-text citations and references.
• Submit the manuscript in DOCX format.
• Ensure that the blinded manuscript does not contain tracked changes, comments, or document metadata identifying the authors.

Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Manuscripts should demonstrate scholarly rigor, originality, ethical transparency, social relevance, and clear engagement with the societal implications of artificial intelligence.

• The blinded manuscript has been fully anonymized.
• A separate title page has been prepared.
• The abstract is 150–250 words.
