Author Guidelines

Global Review of Humanities, Arts, and Society (GRHAS)

GRHAS accepts original and interdisciplinary submissions in the humanities, arts, and social inquiry. We welcome a wide range of formats, including scholarly articles, theoretical essays, case studies, artistic reflections, interviews, and book reviews.

I. Submission Format & Technical Specifications

File Format	Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
Typography	12-point font, double-spaced, standard margins
Metadata	Title, Abstract (150–250 words), 4–6 Keywords
Anonymization	Mandatory: Remove all author identifiers and metadata for blind review.

II. Language, Style & Citations

Language: Clear, formal English is required. Inclusive and non-discriminatory language is mandatory.
Citation Style: Consistent use of Chicago, APA, or MLA throughout the manuscript.
Footnotes: Permitted for explanatory content only. A complete reference list is required at the end.

III. Ethical Compliance & Media

Research Ethics

Research involving human subjects must comply with international ethical standards and include a formal statement of compliance.

Media & Permissions

Authors must secure all copyright permissions for images. High-resolution files are required upon article acceptance.

IV. Editorial Process & Licensing

Peer Review: Submissions undergo double-blind peer review. Revision requests require a detailed response letter.

Open Access: Authors retain copyright under a Creative Commons license. GRHAS supports unrestricted access to scholarly work.

Section Selection: Please specify your target section (e.g., Original Articles, Theoretical Explorations) during submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before starting your submission, please confirm that your manuscript complies with the following requirements. By proceeding, you acknowledge that each item has been reviewed and fulfilled:

I have prepared and formatted my manuscript using the official GRHAS article template, ensuring proper structure and formatting.

The manuscript has been anonymized for double-blind review, with no author names, institutional affiliations, or identifying metadata.

✔

I have followed the formatting guidelines in the template, including font, spacing, margins, and paragraph structure.

✔

The manuscript includes a title, abstract (150–250 words), 4–6 keywords, and a complete reference list.

✔

All citations follow a consistent style (APA) as required.

✔

All figures and tables are credited and permission has been obtained for copyrighted materials.

✔

Ethical considerations involving human subjects or sensitive content have been clearly stated.

✔

I have uploaded all relevant supporting documents (cover letter, supplementary files, ethical statements).

✔

I am prepared to provide full contributor information (names, affiliations, email, and ORCID iDs).

✔

This submission is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration elsewhere. It complies with academic integrity standards.

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the submission being returned to the author for correction.

Copyright & Licensing Terms

By submitting a manuscript to GRHAS, the author(s) agree to the following legally binding terms:

1. Copyright Retention

Authors retain full copyright of their work. Upon acceptance, authors grant GRHAS the right of first publication, allowing the journal to publish the work as the original venue.

OPEN ACCESS

2. CC BY License

Published articles are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY). This permits others to share, adapt, and build upon the work (even commercially) with proper credit.

3. Originality and Responsibility

Authors confirm the work is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. Authors are solely responsible for content accuracy and third-party material permissions.

4. Permissions

Documentation of permission for all copyrighted content (images, data, figures) not created by the authors must be provided upon submission.

5. Compliance with Ethical Standards

Authors affirm compliance with academic integrity and ethical research standards, including all necessary disclosures and conflict of interest declarations.

CERTIFICATION: By confirming this notice, the corresponding author certifies that all co-authors have read and agreed to the terms outlined above.
