The Global Review of Humanities, Arts, and Society (GRHAS) is committed to immediate and unrestricted open access to its published scholarly articles. All published articles are made freely available online upon publication, without subscription charges, reader access fees, or embargo periods. This policy supports the dissemination, accessibility, and responsible reuse of scholarly knowledge among researchers, educators, practitioners, students, and the wider public.

Immediate Access and Reuse

GRHAS provides immediate access to the full text of published articles through its official journal website. Readers may access, read, download, and share published research without purchasing a subscription or obtaining individual access permission.

Published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain copyright in their original contributions and grant GRHAS the non-exclusive right of first publication.

Under CC BY 4.0, users may reproduce, distribute, translate, adapt, and otherwise reuse licensed article content in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes. Reuse must comply with the applicable licence conditions, including appropriate attribution, reference to the licence, preservation of relevant notices, and identification of modifications.

GRHAS encourages users to provide the complete bibliographic citation and the article's DOI or permanent journal URL when sharing or adapting published research. Appropriate citation supports scholarly traceability and enables readers to identify the original publication.

Third-party content, including photographs, illustrations, artwork, recordings, or other materials, may be subject to separate copyright or licensing conditions. Such material is not necessarily covered by the article's CC BY 4.0 licence. Users should examine the applicable credit lines and rights statements before reuse.

Detailed provisions concerning copyright ownership, attribution, third-party permissions, and reuse are provided in the journal's Copyright & Licensing Policy.

Author Self-Archiving and Repository Deposit

GRHAS supports author self-archiving and the dissemination of research through institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories, personal academic websites, and other appropriate scholarly platforms.

Authors may deposit preprints, accepted manuscripts, and the published Version of Record without an embargo imposed by GRHAS. Authors should identify the version being deposited accurately and respect any third-party rights applicable to material included in the manuscript or article.

Once an article has been published, authors are encouraged to update repository records with the final bibliographic citation, publication date, DOI or permanent journal URL, and applicable licensing information. These details help distinguish earlier manuscript versions from the formally published Version of Record.

Authors should select repositories that provide stable access, clear version identification, and reliable descriptive metadata. Where a deposited article is subsequently corrected, retracted, or otherwise affected by a formal editorial notice, the repository record should be updated to identify the notice and link to the relevant publication record.

Publication Charges and Financial Support

GRHAS operates an open-access publication model supported by article processing charges (APCs). The standard APC is USD 450 per accepted article, payable only after the manuscript has received a formal acceptance decision.

The APC contributes to the preparation of publication files, bibliographic metadata, online journal hosting, and open-access publication services. It does not represent a fee for editorial acceptance or a payment to influence peer-review outcomes.

Editorial evaluation and publication fee administration are handled separately. Manuscripts are assessed according to scholarly relevance, academic quality, methodological or analytical rigour, and research integrity. The availability of publication funding does not determine editorial decisions.

Authors who lack sufficient institutional, grant, or personal publication funding may request a full or partial APC waiver. Requests should be made at submission and are considered individually according to financial circumstances and available support. Approved waivers are confirmed in writing.

For detailed information on charges, invoices, payment arrangements, and financial assistance, please consult the APC Policy Schedule and Waiver Policy. Open access to published articles remains free for readers, irrespective of the financial arrangements associated with individual manuscripts.

Accessing and Using the Published Record

Readers may locate published research through the journal's Archives, its article search functions, and bibliographic references linking to the journal's official publication pages.

The official article page serves as the principal point of access to the published scholarly record. It provides publication information, article content and available bibliographic metadata, together with links to relevant corrections, retractions, or other editorial notices where applicable.

When citing, distributing, or depositing an article, readers and authors are encouraged to use its DOI, where assigned, or its permanent journal URL. This practice supports the identification of the Version of Record and helps preserve the connection between shared copies and the article's publication history.

If a published file becomes inaccessible, a permanent link fails, or article metadata appears incorrect, readers should inform the editorial office and provide sufficient information to identify the affected publication.
