Global Review of Humanities, Arts, and Society (GRHAS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Panorama Scholarly Group. It connects research on cultural expression, artistic practice and social life through careful interpretation, original investigation and interdisciplinary debate.

Journal profile

GRHAS publishes six issues per year on a bimonthly schedule. Its ISSN is 3052-539X. The journal welcomes contributions in English from scholars and practitioners working across the humanities, arts and related social sciences. Its readership includes researchers, educators, artists and readers interested in the ways culture and social change shape one another.

The Aims & Scope explains the journal’s subject areas and intellectual priorities. Published volumes and issues can be explored through the Archives.

Editorial organisation

The editorial team evaluates the fit and quality of submissions, appoints reviewers and makes publication decisions. Reviewers contribute independent assessments of the argument, sources, methods and scholarly significance. The publisher supports publication administration, production and online access.

Editorial decisions rest on the quality and integrity of the work. Fee administration is separate from the assessment of a manuscript. An independent editor handles a submission when an editor or board member is an author or has a relevant competing interest. The Editorial Board identifies the journal’s editorial membership.

Review and publication

Research articles undergo double-anonymous peer review. Shorter scholarly formats receive assessment appropriate to their purpose, with external review when their content requires it. Authors are informed of revision requirements through a decision letter and submit their response through the journal system.

Accepted work proceeds to production, author proof review and publication. The published article record provides its bibliographic details, full text, licence and links to any subsequent notices.

Access, rights and charges

Articles are freely available online. Authors retain copyright and publish under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0), subject to any separately identified third-party rights. The standard article processing charge is USD 450 per accepted article, payable after acceptance.

Authors can consult Submission Process, APC Policy Schedule and Waiver Policy before submitting. Questions about the journal or an active manuscript may be sent to [email protected].
