Submission Process
Submit a manuscript to GRHAS through the online submission system. The process below explains the author’s tasks from preparing the files to checking the published record.
1. Check fit and prepare
Read Aims & Scope and Author Guidelines. Select an article type and prepare an anonymised editable manuscript, a separate title page, a cover letter and supporting files. Confirm author approval, permissions and required declarations.
Review the APC and waiver policies before submission. Disclose related papers, preprints and earlier versions in the cover letter, explaining the contribution of the present manuscript.
2. Complete the online record
Register or sign in, start a submission and upload files under the appropriate categories. Enter the title, abstract, keywords and complete author information. Check author order, affiliations and the corresponding author’s email against the title page.
Read the submission checklist and complete the relevant declarations. Review the record before final submission. Use the submission identifier when communicating with the editorial office and retain the confirmation.
3. Editorial assessment and review
The editor examines fit, contribution and completeness. The office may request preparation changes or further documentation. Research manuscripts suitable for assessment proceed to double-anonymous peer review.
The decision letter explains the outcome and any required revisions. Submit revised files and a point-by-point response within the existing record. Request an extension before the deadline if necessary.
4. Acceptance and production
After acceptance, provide final source files, complete author details, declarations and permission records. The office coordinates production and supplies invoicing instructions. A confirmed waiver is reflected in the amount payable.
Check the proofs carefully and respond to production queries. Verify quotations, figures, author names, references and licence information. Changes affecting the argument or findings require editorial assessment.
5. Publication and follow-up
GRHAS publishes bimonthly, with six issues per year. The article record supplies bibliographic information and access to the published text. Check the record after publication and use its DOI or journal URL when sharing the article.
Report material errors through Corrections Policy. For an access problem or enquiry, email [email protected] with the submission identifier or article citation.
