GRHAS maintains published article files and metadata through the journal’s online publication record. The Archives provides access by volume and issue, while article pages identify the version of record and any subsequent notices.

Maintaining the record

An article record should connect the bibliographic information, full-text files, supplementary material and publication status. Corrections and retractions are linked to the affected work and form part of its record.

The journal’s archive supports continuing access and citation. Questions about an external preservation arrangement or the recovery of a particular file should be directed to the editorial office, which can provide the applicable information.

Repository copies

Authors may deposit the preprint, accepted manuscript and version of record without embargo. A deposited copy should identify its version, include the complete citation when available and link to the journal record.

Repository deposit provides an additional access route. Select a suitable repository, use clear file descriptions and include a persistent identifier where available. Preserve the licence and any separately stated rights information.

Changes after publication

Authors maintaining repository copies should update their descriptions when a correction or retraction is issued. Link the notice to the deposited article so readers can recognise the change in status.

A correction of an article and a correction of a repository description serve related but distinct purposes. Use the journal’s formal procedure for a material error in the published work.

Reporting an access problem

Email [email protected] with the article title, volume and issue, DOI or URL, and the file or link affected. Explain what happens when you attempt access.

The editorial office checks the publication record and directs recovery or metadata issues to the appropriate technical or editorial contact.
