Health Nexus is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal advancing interdisciplinary medical research with a focus on integrative dialogue between Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The journal promotes methodologically rigorous and globally relevant approaches to clinical practice, public health, pharmacology, and integrative medicine. It welcomes original research, systematic reviews, theoretical studies, and clinically valuable case reports, particularly those addressing global health challenges and contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. As a diamond open-access journal, Health Nexus charges no APCs. All submissions undergo strict double-blind peer review to ensure scientific quality and interdisciplinary significance.

Announcement on Publishing Model Update (Effective 2027)

Health Nexus will introduce an Article Processing Charge (APC) policy starting in 2027 to support sustainable publishing operations and strengthen international indexing and publishing infrastructure. Manuscripts submitted before 2027 will remain under the current Diamond Open Access model.

Vol. 2 (2026): Focus on Healthy Aging and Chronic Disease Prevention

Volume 2 (2026) of Health Nexus: Interdisciplinary Medical Research Journal is currently open for submissions and in active development. While this annual issue highlights themes related to healthy aging and chronic disease prevention, it remains a general issue that welcomes high-quality interdisciplinary contributions across clinical medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, integrative health sciences, and public health.

The issue will include original research articles, systematic reviews, case reports, and theoretical perspectives that reflect the journal’s mission to bridge Western and traditional medical knowledge systems.

All accepted articles undergo rigorous peer review and are published under our Diamond Open Access policy (no article processing charges). ISSN 3053-7037.
