Submission and editorial assessment
After submission, the editorial office checks scope, completeness, formatting, originality, and ethical compliance. Manuscripts that pass screening are sent for double-blind peer review, normally by at least two experts. Authors must respond carefully to revision requests and disclose any conflicts of interest.
Research integrity
By submitting, authors confirm that the work is original, that all authors have approved the submission, that necessary permissions have been obtained, and that the manuscript is not simultaneously submitted elsewhere. JESA may conduct plagiarism screening before peer review and before publication.
For article types and formatting details, see the Author Guidelines.
