Xinhuan Zeng's academic work focuses on the intersection of dance, artificial intelligence, and movement science. His research examines the visualization and quantitative analysis of dance movement, including Chinese classical dance and ballet, through computational tools such as OpenPose and MediaPipe.
His research further explores AI-assisted motion tracking, embodied cognition, dance learning, and creative decision-making by integrating movement data with expert-based evaluation frameworks.
He also has experience in choreography, digital interactive performance, and international dance exchange. In addition, he serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Global Review of Humanities, Arts and Society.
