PoliEcoM Administration Review is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal. To support editorial administration, peer review coordination, manuscript processing, online publication, long-term accessibility, journal operations, and open scholarly dissemination, the journal applies transparent publication and post-publication administrative processing charges.

All charges are stated clearly below. Payment of any charge does not guarantee acceptance, does not influence editorial decisions, and does not affect the independence of the peer review process.

1. Fee Schedule

Article Processing Charge USD 350 Charged only after formal acceptance of eligible manuscripts for publication.
APC-Exempt Article Types No APC Book Reviews, Commentaries and Perspectives, and Critical Reviews are exempt from the Article Processing Charge.
DOI Assignment for APC-Exempt Content Zenodo DOI Book Reviews, Commentaries and Perspectives, and Critical Reviews are exempt from APC payment and may receive a DOI through Zenodo or other open scholarly repository infrastructure.
Post-Publication Administrative Processing Fee USD 100 Charged only after publication when author-requested administrative changes, metadata updates, certification requests, or non-editorial post-publication corrections require additional processing by the Editorial Office.

2. Payment Timing

Article Processing Charge: The article processing charge of USD 350 is payable only after an eligible manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. No APC is charged for manuscripts rejected during editorial screening or peer review.

APC-Exempt Article Types: Book Reviews, Commentaries and Perspectives, and Critical Reviews are exempt from the Article Processing Charge. These article types may be published as journal content and may receive DOI assignment through Zenodo or other open scholarly repository infrastructure.

Post-Publication Administrative Processing Fee: The post-publication administrative processing fee of USD 100 is payable only after the article has been published and only when an author requests additional post-publication administrative handling, such as metadata correction, author information update, publication certificate processing, formatting-related adjustment, or other non-editorial administrative services.

3. Multi-Currency Payment Support

The official fee schedule of PoliEcoM Administration Review is denominated in United States dollars. To support international authors, the journal may accept payment in multiple currencies through approved payment channels, subject to invoice availability, payment platform support, banking rules, and currency conversion conditions.

Base Currency All official charges are calculated with reference to USD.
Supported Currencies Authors may request payment in supported currencies, such as USD, CNY/RMB, EUR, GBP, HKD, SGD, or other currencies available through the approved payment channel.
Currency Conversion Currency conversion may be based on the invoice date, payment date, payment provider rate, bank rate, or other applicable exchange-rate mechanism.
Banking and Platform Fees Any bank charges, transfer fees, currency conversion fees, payment platform fees, or local taxes are normally the responsibility of the payer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment confirmation: Authors should follow the invoice instructions issued by the Editorial Office or the authorized payment administrator. The final payable amount in a non-USD currency may vary according to exchange rates and payment processing conditions.

Invoice currency: The Editorial Office may issue invoices in USD or in an equivalent supported currency where available. Authors who require a specific currency should contact the Editorial Office before making payment.

4. No Charge for Peer Review Revisions

Revisions requested during editorial screening, peer review, copyediting, or pre-publication production are part of the normal editorial process and are not subject to the post-publication administrative processing fee. The fee applies only to eligible author-requested administrative changes after publication.

5. Post-Publication Changes and Corrections

Authors may request post-publication changes only when the requested change is necessary, accurate, and ethically appropriate. All post-publication changes are subject to editorial review and approval. The journal does not permit undisclosed or improper changes to the scholarly record.

  • Minor corrections caused by journal production or Editorial Office errors will be corrected without charge.
  • Author-requested administrative corrections after publication may be subject to the USD 100 post-publication administrative processing fee, or its equivalent in a supported currency.
  • Requests involving author name changes, affiliation updates, metadata revisions, publication certificate processing, or non-editorial formatting adjustments may require administrative review.
  • Substantive changes affecting data, analysis, findings, conclusions, authorship, funding disclosure, conflicts of interest, or research ethics must be reviewed by the Editorial Office and may require a formal correction notice.
  • Corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions will be handled according to the journal’s publication ethics and correction policies.

6. Estimated Editorial and Publication Timeline

The journal seeks to provide an efficient and rigorous editorial process. The following timeline is an estimate and may vary depending on manuscript quality, reviewer availability, revision complexity, ethical checks, and editorial workload.

7. APC Exemption and DOI Policy

Book Reviews, Commentaries and Perspectives, and Critical Reviews are exempt from the Article Processing Charge. These article types are handled as scholarly or editorial content within the journal and may receive DOI assignment through Zenodo or other open scholarly repository infrastructure.

For APC-exempt content, DOI assignment may differ from the journal’s standard DOI registration workflow. Where applicable, a Zenodo DOI or equivalent open repository DOI may be used to support discoverability, citation, archiving, and long-term access.

  • Book Reviews: no APC; DOI may be assigned through Zenodo or equivalent open repository infrastructure.
  • Commentaries and Perspectives: no APC; DOI may be assigned through Zenodo or equivalent open repository infrastructure.
  • Critical Reviews: no APC; DOI may be assigned through Zenodo or equivalent open repository infrastructure.
  • Other eligible article types may be subject to the standard APC after formal acceptance.

  • Technical checks, formatting checks, and submission management
  • Peer review coordination and editorial communication
  • Copyediting, production preparation, online publication, and website maintenance
  • Open-access dissemination and long-term article accessibility
  • Payment processing, invoice administration, and multi-currency payment coordination where applicable

9. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, and reviewer evaluations. Charges are administratively managed and do not influence peer review, editorial judgment, or publication decisions.

APC exemption, DOI assignment status, payment currency, payment method, waiver request, or administrative payment processing status does not influence editorial screening, peer review, acceptance, rejection, revision requests, or publication decisions. All submissions are evaluated according to the journal’s editorial and ethical standards.

10. Refund Policy

  • The APC is charged only after formal acceptance and is not required for rejected manuscripts.
  • Book Reviews, Commentaries and Perspectives, and Critical Reviews are exempt from APC payment.
  • Once production work has begun after acceptance, paid publication charges may not be refundable.
  • The post-publication administrative processing fee is non-refundable once the requested administrative service has begun.
  • Currency conversion differences, bank charges, transfer fees, payment platform fees, and local taxes are normally not refundable by the journal.
  • Minor corrections caused by production or Editorial Office errors will be handled without charge.
  • Any exceptional refund request will be reviewed by the Editorial Office on a case-by-case basis.

11. Waiver or Reduction Requests

Authors who require financial assistance may contact the Editorial Office before submission or during the early editorial stage to request a waiver or reduction. Waiver requests are considered case by case and do not affect editorial evaluation or peer review outcomes.

Waiver or reduction requests apply only to eligible APC-charged article types. Book Reviews, Commentaries and Perspectives, and Critical Reviews do not require an APC waiver because they are exempt from APC payment under this policy.
