Authors submitting to PoliEcoM Administration Review must ensure that their manuscripts meet the journal’s academic, ethical, formatting, and technical requirements before submission. This checklist is intended to help authors prepare complete, anonymized, and review-ready manuscripts.

Submissions that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to authors before peer review. All manuscripts should be prepared in clear American English and must follow the journal’s double-blind peer review requirements.

1. Manuscript Eligibility

The manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.
The manuscript fits the aims and scope of PoliEcoM Administration Review.
The submission makes a clear scholarly, theoretical, empirical, policy, or practical contribution.
The manuscript is appropriate for one of the journal’s article categories.

2. Language and Style

The manuscript is written in clear, professional American English.
Spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and terminology are used consistently.
The manuscript has been carefully proofread before submission.

3. Required Manuscript Structure

The manuscript includes a concise and informative title.
The manuscript includes an abstract that summarizes the research question, methods, findings, and contribution.
The manuscript includes appropriate keywords.
The manuscript includes an Evidence for Practice section with 3–5 concise bullet points.
The Evidence for Practice section appears after the keywords and before the main text.
The opening section of the main text does not use a separate heading titled “Introduction.”

4. Evidence for Practice

Evidence for Practice must include 3–5 bullet points that:

  • Identify practical implications for public policy, governance, administration, management, or institutions.
  • Translate the study’s evidence into clear implications for practitioners or decision-makers.
  • Avoid repeating the abstract or listing only general research findings.
  • Use concise, direct, and accessible academic language.

5. Formatting and References

The manuscript follows the journal’s formatting requirements.
Headings and subheadings are used consistently throughout the manuscript.
References follow the Chicago Manual of Style, 16th edition, Author-Date format.
Every in-text citation appears in the reference list.
Every reference listed is cited in the manuscript.

6. Tables, Figures, and Supplementary Materials

Tables and figures are numbered consecutively and cited in the text.
Each table and figure includes a clear title and source note where necessary.
Permissions have been obtained for any copyrighted materials where required.
Supplementary materials, datasets, appendices, or additional files are clearly labeled where applicable.

7. Ethics and Disclosure Statements

The manuscript does not contain plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate text recycling.
All authors have made a meaningful scholarly contribution to the manuscript.
A funding statement is included where applicable.
A conflict of interest statement is included.
Ethical approval, informed consent, anonymization, or data protection statements are included where applicable.

8. Double-Blind Review Preparation

The main manuscript file has been anonymized for double-blind peer review.
Author names, affiliations, biographies, acknowledgments, and identifying funding details have been removed from the main manuscript file.
Self-identifying statements and file metadata have been removed where possible.
Author information has been entered separately in the online submission system.

9. Submission Files and Metadata

The manuscript file has been uploaded in an acceptable editable format, normally Microsoft Word.
All required author information has been entered accurately.
The title, abstract, keywords, and other metadata in the submission system match the manuscript file.
All supplementary files are uploaded and clearly described where applicable.

10. Final Author Confirmation

By submitting a manuscript to PoliEcoM Administration Review, the corresponding author confirms that the submission is complete, accurate, ethically compliant, and approved by all listed authors.

The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal and for ensuring that all coauthors are informed of submission, revision, acceptance, and publication decisions.
