PoliEcoM Administration Review is an open-access journal committed to the wide dissemination of scholarly research while respecting authors’ rights, copyright law, licensing transparency, and responsible reuse of published materials.

This policy explains copyright ownership, author rights, reuse permissions, licensing terms, third-party material requirements, and responsibilities related to published articles in the journal.

1. Copyright Ownership

Authors retain copyright of their published work. By submitting a manuscript to PoliEcoM Administration Review, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and permission to publish, distribute, archive, index, and make the article available online as part of the journal’s open-access publication model.

2. License for Published Articles

Unless otherwise stated, articles published in PoliEcoM Administration Review are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License CC BY 4.0.

Under this license, users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, share, adapt, transform, and build upon the published work for lawful purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author or authors, the article title, the journal, and the original source of publication.

3. Author Rights

Authors retain broad rights to use, share, archive, and distribute their published articles, provided that the original publication in PoliEcoM Administration Review is properly cited.

• Authors may share the published version of record on personal websites.
• Authors may deposit the published article in institutional or disciplinary repositories.
• Authors may use the article in teaching, research, presentations, and academic networking platforms.
• Authors may reuse parts of the article in future scholarly work with proper citation.
• Authors may distribute the article to colleagues, students, policymakers, or professional audiences.

4. Reader and User Rights

Readers and users may access and reuse published articles in accordance with the applicable license. Reuse must not misrepresent the original work, authorship, publication status, findings, or conclusions.

5. Required Citation of the Version of Record

When authors or users share, archive, translate, adapt, or reuse a published article, they should cite the official published version of record. Proper citation supports academic integrity, indexing accuracy, citation tracking, and the reliability of the scholarly record.

6. Third-Party Materials

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use third-party materials when such permission is required. Third-party materials may include copyrighted figures, tables, images, maps, photographs, datasets, survey instruments, long quotations, archival materials, and other content not created by the author.

• Authors must identify third-party materials clearly in the manuscript.
• Authors must obtain written permission where required by copyright law or license terms.
• Authors must provide proper acknowledgment, credit lines, and source information.
• Materials not covered by the article’s open-access license should be labeled accordingly.
• The journal may request evidence of permission before publication.

7. Materials Excluded from the Article License

Some materials included in an article may not be covered by the article’s Creative Commons license. This may apply to third-party images, figures, tables, maps, datasets, archival documents, or other materials used with permission or under separate licensing terms.

When material is excluded from the article license, users must obtain permission from the relevant copyright holder before reusing that material, unless their reuse is otherwise permitted by law or by the material’s own license.

8. Author Warranties

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that they have the necessary rights to submit and publish the work and that the manuscript does not infringe the rights of any third party.

9. Repository Deposit and Self-Archiving

Authors may deposit the published version of record in institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories, funder repositories, personal websites, academic profiles, and other lawful scholarly platforms. Deposited versions should include full citation information and a link to the journal’s official article page where available.

• No embargo period is imposed on the published version of record.
• Repository records should identify the article as published in PoliEcoM Administration Review.
• Deposited files should preserve copyright and licensing information.
• Authors should ensure that repository deposit does not violate third-party material restrictions.

10. Commercial and Non-Commercial Reuse

Articles licensed under CC BY 4.0 may be reused for lawful purposes, including academic, educational, policy, professional, and commercial purposes, provided that proper attribution is given and the reuse does not misrepresent the original work. Users remain responsible for ensuring that their reuse complies with applicable laws, license terms, and third-party rights.

11. Translation, Adaptation, and Derivative Works

Users may translate, adapt, summarize, or build upon published articles under the applicable license, provided that appropriate attribution is given and that any changes are clearly indicated. Adaptations must not imply endorsement by the authors, the journal, the Editorial Office, or the publication support organization unless explicit permission has been granted.

• Translations should identify the original article and publication source.
• Adaptations should clearly state that changes were made.
• Derivative works should not distort the original findings, evidence, or conclusions.
• Third-party materials may require separate permission.

12. Copyright Infringement Concerns

The Editorial Office will review credible copyright or licensing concerns involving submitted or published content. Authors, readers, copyright holders, institutions, or third parties may contact the Editorial Office to report possible infringement, unauthorized reuse, missing permissions, or licensing errors.

13. Editorial Independence

Copyright and licensing decisions are managed independently from editorial decisions. Payment of publication charges does not affect copyright ownership, licensing terms, peer review, acceptance, rejection, correction, or post-publication action.
