Global Governance Systems Review (GGSR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal devoted to governance systems, institutions, public administration, and public policy. Editors first assess relevance, contribution, evidence, presentation, and ethical compliance. Research manuscripts sent for external assessment are normally reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Reviewers advise the editor; the editorial decision takes account of the reports and the manuscript as a whole. A submission, invitation, or revision request does not constitute acceptance.

Under continuous publication, an accepted article is published when production and author proof review have been completed. Authors should use the final bibliographic details displayed on the article record. Timing estimates describe the usual workflow and do not guarantee a particular decision or publication date.

Records and author responsibilities

The article record is the reference point for the Version of Record, its available files, licence, supplementary material, and any linked editorial notice. Authors should check their names, affiliations, declarations, references, and publication metadata at proof stage. Subsequent changes affecting the meaning or reliability of the work are handled through the journal’s correction and integrity procedures.
