The corresponding author should check the complete submission package with all co-authors before uploading it. This checklist is a practical guide to the journal’s requirements. An incomplete package may be returned for technical revision before scholarly assessment.

Contribution and publication status

• The manuscript fits GGSR’s scope, states its research question, and explains its contribution to a defined scholarly debate.
• The article category and indicative length have been checked against Article Types.
• The work is not under consideration elsewhere. Related papers, preprints, conference versions, reports, and overlapping research are disclosed with an explanation of the new contribution.
• All listed authors meet the authorship requirements and approve the manuscript, author order, contribution statement, and submission.

Files and metadata

• An editable .doc or .docx review manuscript and separate title page are supplied.
• Names, affiliations, identifying acknowledgements, comments, and document properties have been checked for anonymity. Necessary self-citations remain accurate.
• The submission system contains complete author details, affiliations, corresponding-author contact information, article title, abstract, and keywords.
• The abstract is approximately 150–250 words, and 4–8 informative keywords are provided.
• All tables, figures, captions, appendices, and supplementary files are present, labelled, and cited in the text.

Evidence and references

• Sources, case or sample selection, analytical procedures, and limitations are sufficiently described.
• Reported claims match the evidence; uncertainty and relevant alternative explanations are addressed.
• References follow APA 7th edition, correspond to the in-text citations, and have been verified against original sources.
• Permissions and credit lines are supplied for reused material, including any content excluded from the article licence.

Declarations and publication terms

• Author contributions, funding and funder involvement, competing interests, and data availability are stated.
• Applicable ethics approval or exemption, participant consent, and confidentiality protections are documented.
• Substantive AI use is disclosed, and generated outputs, references, and code have been independently checked.
• The authors have reviewed the open-access licence and the standard USD 350 APC, payable after formal acceptance. Any waiver or discount has written confirmation.
