Journal of Law, Psychology, and Communication Studies (JLPCS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access academic journal dedicated to interdisciplinary scholarship at the intersection of legal studies, psychological research, communication studies, and social governance.

JLPCS welcomes high-quality manuscripts in English and Chinese. Suitable submissions may include:
- Original empirical research articles

- Methodological papers relevant to law, psychology, communication, or their intersections

本刊接受英文和中文稿件,包括原创实证研究、理论研究、文献综述、比较研究、政策与治理分析、方法论论文以及符合专题征稿方向的研究论文。
Submission Fit / 选题适配性
A manuscript is considered within the journal’s scope when it:
- Addresses a clearly defined issue in law, psychology, communication studies, or their interdisciplinary intersections;
- Demonstrates theoretical relevance, methodological transparency, and scholarly originality;
- Engages with current academic literature and clearly explains its contribution;
- Provides sufficient detail on research design, data, evidence, analysis, and limitations where applicable;
- Meets ethical standards for research involving human participants, personal data, sensitive materials, or institutional information.
稿件应具有明确的问题意识、充分的文献基础、规范的方法设计、透明的数据或材料说明,并能体现对相关学科或跨学科领域的实质性贡献。
Manuscripts Normally Outside the Scope / 通常不属于本刊范围的稿件
- Manuscripts without a clear connection to law, psychology, communication studies, or social governance;
- Purely descriptive essays that lack theoretical engagement, research design, evidence, or analytical contribution;
- Professional commentary, news-style writing, or opinion pieces without academic framing;
- Manuscripts that do not meet basic standards of research ethics, citation integrity, or academic transparency;
- Submissions that fall outside the journal’s language, formatting, and referencing requirements.
Language, Format, and Referencing / 语言、格式与引用
JLPCS accepts manuscripts in English and Chinese. Authors should ensure that the manuscript is written in clear academic language and that all references are complete, accurate, and consistently formatted.
Manuscripts should follow the journal’s current author guidelines and use the APA 7th edition referencing style unless otherwise specified by the editorial office.
Editorial Assessment / 编辑初审关注点
During initial editorial screening, submissions are assessed for:
- Relevance to the aims and scope of JLPCS;
- Originality, academic significance, and contribution to the field;
- Soundness of research design, evidence, and analysis;
- Clarity of structure, argumentation, language, and presentation;
- Compliance with ethical, transparency, formatting, and reference requirements.
