The Journal of Law, Psychology, and Communication Studies (JLPCS) publishes scholarly manuscripts in law, psychology, communication studies, and interdisciplinary research related to social governance, digital society, institutions, behavior, media, and public communication.
《法律·心理学·传播研究学刊》(JLPCS)发表法学、心理学、传播学及其交叉领域的学术稿件,重点关注社会治理、数字社会、制度运行、行为机制、媒体传播与公共沟通相关研究。
1. General Policy / 基本政策
JLPCS considers scholarly manuscripts that make an original contribution to legal studies, psychological research, communication studies, or relevant interdisciplinary fields. Submissions should demonstrate a clear research question, appropriate theoretical grounding, transparent methodology, reliable evidence, and meaningful academic contribution.
All submitted manuscripts are subject to editorial screening. Scholarly manuscripts that pass initial screening may be sent for double-blind peer review in accordance with the journal’s peer review policy.
JLPCS 接收具有原创性和学术贡献的研究型稿件。稿件应具有清晰的问题意识、充分的理论基础、透明的方法设计、可靠的证据支持和明确的学术贡献。所有投稿均须经过编辑部初审,符合条件的学术稿件将按本刊同行评议政策进入双盲评审程序。
2. Main Article Types / 主要稿件类型
Original Research Article / 原创研究论文
Original research articles present new findings based on empirical data, legal materials, textual evidence, case analysis, experiments, surveys, interviews, archival materials, platform data, or other appropriate sources.
Suitable for quantitative, qualitative, doctrinal, comparative, mixed-methods, and interdisciplinary studies.
Theoretical or Conceptual Article / 理论或概念论文
Theoretical articles develop, refine, critique, or integrate concepts, theories, frameworks, models, or normative arguments relevant to law, psychology, communication, or social governance.
The article should go beyond commentary and provide clear analytical structure and scholarly contribution.
Review Article / 综述论文
Review articles synthesize existing scholarship, identify research gaps, compare academic debates, and propose directions for future research.
Reviews should be analytical rather than descriptive and should clearly explain the selection and organization of literature.
Systematic or Scoping Review / 系统综述或范围综述
Systematic and scoping reviews use transparent search, screening, inclusion, exclusion, coding, and synthesis procedures to map or evaluate a body of literature.
Authors should report databases, search terms, screening criteria, coding procedures, and review limitations.
Comparative Study / 比较研究
Comparative studies examine legal systems, policies, institutions, communication practices, psychological phenomena, governance models, or social contexts across jurisdictions, cultures, platforms, or groups.
The comparison should be methodologically justified and should generate clear analytical insight.
Case Study or Legal Analysis / 案例研究或法律分析
Case-based articles analyze judicial decisions, legal disputes, institutional practices, media events, communication cases, psychological interventions, platform governance incidents, or public policy episodes.
Case studies should provide theoretical, legal, methodological, or policy relevance beyond description.
Policy, Governance, or Institutional Analysis / 政策、治理或制度分析
These articles examine policy frameworks, governance arrangements, regulatory mechanisms, institutional design, public communication strategies, or social intervention models.
Authors should connect policy analysis to academic literature, evidence, and clearly defined evaluative criteria.
Methodological Article / 方法论论文
Methodological articles introduce, evaluate, adapt, or critique research methods relevant to legal studies, psychology, communication studies, or interdisciplinary social inquiry.
The article should explain methodological value, limitations, and potential application to future research.
3. Special Issue Articles / 专题稿件
JLPCS may publish special issue articles or thematic section articles when a special issue has been approved by the editorial office. Special issue manuscripts must meet the same standards of originality, scope fit, research ethics, formatting, and peer review as regular submissions.
Special issue topics, deadlines, guest editorial arrangements, and submission instructions will be announced separately on the journal website where applicable.

4. Article Type and Peer Review / 稿件类型与同行评议
Editorial notes, announcements, calls for papers, corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, and other journal administrative materials are not treated as regular research articles and may follow editorial assessment rather than external peer review.

6. General Length and Format / 一般篇幅与格式
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.docx).
- The main manuscript should normally not exceed 35 pages, including abstract, main text, references, tables, figures, and endnotes.
- The abstract should normally be no more than 150 words.
- Authors should provide at least 5 keywords.
- All citations and references must follow APA 7th edition style.
- The anonymized manuscript must not contain author names, affiliations, acknowledgments, funding details, or other identifying information.
稿件应使用 Word 文档格式提交,正文文件通常不超过 35 页,摘要通常不超过 150 词,并提供至少 5 个关键词。所有引用和参考文献须符合 APA 第七版格式。
7. Article Type Selection During Submission / 投稿时如何选择稿件类型
Authors should select the article type that best describes the manuscript’s primary purpose, evidence base, and scholarly contribution. The editorial office may reclassify the article type during screening, peer review, or production if another category is more appropriate.
- Select Original Research Article if the manuscript presents new empirical, doctrinal, comparative, or interdisciplinary findings.
- Select Theoretical or Conceptual Article if the manuscript develops a theory, concept, framework, model, or normative argument.
- Select Review Article if the manuscript synthesizes existing literature without a fully systematic search protocol.
- Select Systematic or Scoping Review if the manuscript uses a transparent search, screening, and synthesis method.
- Select Comparative Study if comparison across jurisdictions, cultures, institutions, cases, platforms, or groups is central to the manuscript.
- Select Case Study or Legal Analysis if the manuscript focuses on one or more cases, judgments, policies, events, or institutional practices.
作者应根据稿件的主要研究目的、证据来源和学术贡献选择最合适的稿件类型。编辑部可在初审、评审或出版制作阶段根据稿件内容调整类型分类。
8. Manuscripts Normally Not Suitable / 通常不适合投稿的稿件
The following types of submissions are normally not suitable for JLPCS:
- Manuscripts outside law, psychology, communication studies, social governance, or related interdisciplinary fields;
- Pure opinion essays without academic framing, research evidence, or theoretical contribution;
- News reports, promotional articles, institutional publicity, or non-scholarly commentary;
- Manuscripts with unclear authorship, incomplete references, fabricated citations, or insufficient source transparency;
- Submissions that duplicate previously published work or are under consideration elsewhere;
- Manuscripts that do not meet research ethics, consent, data protection, or conflict-of-interest disclosure requirements;
- Manuscripts that cannot be reliably evaluated due to severe language, structure, formatting, or citation problems.
通常不适合本刊的稿件包括:与本刊范围无关的文章、缺乏学术框架的观点性文章、新闻报道或宣传性文章、引用和作者信息不透明的稿件、一稿多投或重复发表稿件,以及不符合研究伦理和透明度要求的稿件。
9. Ethical and Transparency Requirements / 伦理与透明度要求
The applicable ethical and transparency requirements depend on the article type, research design, data source, and subject matter. Authors should provide the following declarations where relevant:
Ethics Approval / 伦理审批
Required where applicable for studies involving human participants, interviews, surveys, experiments, personal data, or sensitive materials.
Informed Consent / 知情同意
Authors should explain how consent was obtained or why consent was not required.
Data Availability / 数据可得性
Authors should state whether and how data, materials, code, documents, or supplementary files are available.
Conflict of Interest / 利益冲突
All actual or potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed.

Authors who are uncertain about the appropriate article type may consult the JLPCS Editorial Office before submission. The editorial office may advise on article classification but cannot guarantee acceptance before editorial screening and peer review.
