Before submitting to JLPCS, authors should confirm that the manuscript meets the following basic requirements:

• The manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal, conference proceeding, book, or edited collection.
• The topic falls within the aims and scope of JLPCS, including law, psychology, communication studies, or relevant interdisciplinary research.
• The manuscript is written in clear academic English or Chinese.
• The manuscript has been prepared in Microsoft Word format (.docx).
• The manuscript follows the journal’s formatting and referencing requirements.
• All authors have approved the submission and agreed to the journal’s publication policies.
• Research ethics approval, informed consent, data protection, funding, conflict of interest, and AI-use statements are included where applicable.

作者投稿前应确认稿件具有原创性，未发表、未一稿多投，主题符合本刊范围，语言表达清晰，并已按本刊格式、引用、伦理与透明度要求完成准备。

JLPCS uses a double-blind peer review process. Authors must prepare the manuscript in a way that protects author anonymity during review.

• Do not include author names, affiliations, biographies, acknowledgments, funding details, or contact information in the anonymized manuscript file.
• Remove identifying information from file names, document properties, comments, tracked changes, and acknowledgments.
• Self-citations should be written neutrally and should not reveal author identity.
• Funding, ethics approval, conflict of interest, data availability, and acknowledgments may be uploaded separately or added after acceptance if required for anonymization.

本刊采用双盲同行评议。作者应提交匿名稿件，删除作者姓名、单位、致谢、基金、联系方式、文档属性和修订痕迹等可能暴露身份的信息。

All in-text citations and reference entries must follow the American Psychological Association, Seventh Edition (APA 7) style. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all references.

• Every in-text citation must have a corresponding reference entry.
• Every reference entry must be cited in the main text.
• References should include DOI links where available.
• Authors should verify names, publication years, article titles, journal titles, volume, issue, page range, and DOI before submission.
• Chinese references cited in English manuscripts should provide accurate Romanization or English translation where appropriate.

所有文内引用和参考文献条目须遵循 APA 第七版格式。作者应确保引用信息完整、准确、一致，并核对 DOI、作者姓名、年份、题名、刊名、卷期和页码。

Authors must disclose any use of generative AI tools in the preparation of the manuscript, such as language editing, translation support, coding assistance, literature organization, or image generation.

• Generative AI tools may not be listed as authors.
• Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, citation quality, and ethical compliance of the manuscript.
• AI tools must not be used to fabricate data, references, evidence, images, interviews, legal materials, statistical outputs, or research results.
• Where AI tools are used, authors should describe the tool, purpose, and scope of use in the Methods, Acknowledgments, or a dedicated AI-use statement.

生成式人工智能工具不得作为作者。作者应对稿件内容、数据、引用、原创性和伦理合规承担全部责任，并如实披露 AI 工具的使用情况。

Submissions are first screened by the editorial office for scope, completeness, formatting, ethical compliance, and scholarly suitability. Manuscripts that pass initial screening may be sent for double-blind peer review.

Each eligible manuscript is normally evaluated by independent experts. The typical review period is approximately 6-8 weeks, although the timeline may vary depending on manuscript complexity, reviewer availability, revisions, and editorial workload.

Possible editorial decisions include:

• Accept;
• Minor revision;
• Major revision;
• Reject and encourage resubmission;
• Reject.

编辑决定基于稿件质量、范围适配性、研究方法、理论贡献、伦理合规、语言表达、参考文献规范及同行评议意见。

• APC: 2000 RMB, approximately 275 USD, per accepted article.
• No submission fee is charged.
• No fee is charged during peer review.
• The APC applies only after formal acceptance.
• Waiver requests may be considered for authors with genuine financial hardship.
• APC payment status or waiver requests do not influence editorial decisions.

本刊仅在稿件正式录用后收取文章处理费；投稿和审稿阶段不收费。费用支付情况或减免申请不影响编辑决定。

All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s official online submission system. Authors should register or log in, complete the submission metadata, upload the anonymized manuscript file, and provide any required supplementary files or declarations.
